THE ARCHITECTURE

VIBu is based on RealGame business simulation game where up to 9 companies compete against each other on a computer simulated market. The companies are connected to the market and to each other through a computer network. Everything one company does during the game, affects the other companies in one way or another. In each company there are 3-5 participants as decision-makers.

In the VIBu training case, part of the companies are suppliers for the rest of the companies. The different parties in the simulation form the following value chain:

The participant operated suppliers purchase raw materials (Navipad, Optics, Sensor) from the simulated raw material markets. The suppliers then produce Electronics and Processors from these raw materials. Electronics and Processors are sold to the BioCounter manufacturers.

Thus, the participant operated BioCounter manufacturers purchase Electronics and Processors from the suppliers. These raw materials are used to produce BioCounters. The manufacturers sell these end products to the simulated end product markets.

You as a simulation game participant are a member of a supplier team (SubProducer Ltd) or a manufacturer team (BioCounter Ltd).

Typical for the simulation game is that the different parties along the value chain may contact each other whenever they wish to.
